General Terms and Conditions

AccessBET Terms and Conditions cover the use of the accessbet.com site and all associated products and services provided by TM Gaming Networks Limited. By using the platform, users agree to its T&C, game rules, promotion regulations, and any other applicable rules. 

AccessBET does not accept underage users and reserves the right to verify age and identity and may block accounts with false information. You are required to be of at least 18 years old to use the platform. The service is for personal entertainment only, and commercial/professional use is prohibited.

AccessBET does not guarantee constant availability and functionality of its products and is not liable for any damages or losses resulting from disconnection or non-availability of its services. AccessBET is not responsible for any damage caused by the service or its contents, unless intentional or gross negligence is proven. AccessBET is not liable for betting delays due to system congestion or other electronic communication issues.

Any exceptions to the T&C are communicated in writing. Verbal statements by AccessBET employees or affiliates are not considered in case of disputes. Nigerian laws govern all legal relationships between the users and AccessBET. The service is only provided in Nigerian Naira (NGN).

AccessBET may use your name, residence, and image for promotional purposes, especially in the event of significant winnings. The company will attempt to contact you before using your information for publicity.

Access and use of the website and the services

AccessBET makes no guarantee of its permanent availability or operability. The platform may revoke, discontinue or amend any part of the website without prior notice.

References to third party sites on the website are for the purposes of information only. AccessBET has no control over their contents and is not responsible for any loss or damage arising from their use. 

The use of the platform must comply with applicable laws and regulations of Nigeria. It’s inappropriate to introduce malicious software or attempt unauthorized access. 

Clients may need to download software to use certain Services. The software is licensed for personal use only, and users must not misuse it. It’s owned by AccessBET and protected by applicable law.

AccessBET is not responsible for any issues caused by downloads or materials obtained from the Website. You are solely accountable for being compatible with your device hardware and software.

Amendments to the Terms of Use

AccessBET retains the right to modify any aspect of the T&C at any point in time for a variety of purposes, including compliance with current laws and regulations of Nigeria. A revised version of the T&C will be published on the website with an effective date. Users are advised to keep the T&C under regular review. If any changes prove inappropriate for users, it is recommended to stop using the site. By continuing to use the website, account, and/or any of the services, users will be considered to have accepted any modifications made.

Managing an account

To access services and products offered by AccessBET, customers must:

  • Open a betting account;
  • Meet the minimum legal age requirement;
  • Ensure legality of the platform in the jurisdiction;
  • Review the T&C.

Failure to comply with these conditions will result in account closure. 

Customers are prohibited from buying, selling, or transferring accounts. 

When opening an account, customers must provide accurate and up-to-date personal information. AccessBET reserves the right to close accounts with false or inaccurate data. 

Personal data is kept securely stored and can only be disclosed to third parties in accordance with the Privacy Policy.

Users are limited to one account, and opening multiple accounts may result in closure and cancellation of related transactions. Customers must keep their account details confidential and will be held responsible for any unauthorized use. 

Clients can request the closure of their account. Personal details will be deleted upon request after seven years. Closed accounts may be reopened. AccessBET has the right to exclude users from its services and refund their remaining balance. Customers are not allowed to transfer funds or accounts between users. Inactive accounts, unused for six months, are considered inactive. 

Deposits and withdrawals

When depositing funds into an AccessBET account, only available methods must be used. The platform may verify ownership (e.g. cardholder name and so on) and request supporting evidence. If payment methods are not registered in the user’s name, it may lead to account suspension and necessitate additional information. Bank accounts must be operated by a licensed Nigerian bank and registered solely in the user’s name. If deposits are made with the help of third-party payment providers, they are refunded and all associated bets are voided.

The company can change accepted payment methods and refuse certain available ones without providing an explanation.

AccessBET does not impose fees for bank card transfers. Nevertheless, customers may encounter commissions from their payment processors.

Deposit limits depend on the payment method selected.

The AccessBET account is intended for the use of the platform only and should not be treated as a bank facility. It does not generate interest. Deposits should be made solely for the purpose of placing bets.

Withdrawals from the user’s account can be made only to a registered bank account under their name. Requests to withdraw money may be rejected due to:

  • Failure to provide proof of payment method ownership;
  • Requests are linked to money transfers between payment options.

Withdrawals are typically processed within 5 days and are subject to verification. AccessBET is not liable for any delays that may occur.

Payments may be withheld if a breach of T&C is suspected, including:

  • Underage gambling;
  • Third-party payment operations;
  • Illegal jurisdiction;
  • Failure to verify identity, and so on.

Placing bets

AccessBET can decline or limit any bet and have no obligation to accept them. Users must have sufficient funds in their accounts to place a bet, and all bets must meet the minimum stake requirement. Accepted bets are valid and cannot be canceled or changed. AccessBET is not liable for settling non-accepted or invalid bets.

If a game is put on hold or interrupted after 90 minutes and not finished within 24 hours, the end result will be the score at the time of the interruption. Winnings from valid bets will be added to your account balance once settled. Payments may be withheld if the event’s integrity is compromised, prices are manipulated, match-rigging occurs, or for any other reasons stated in the T&C.

AccessBET has the authority to adjust accounts and rectify errors, including canceling bets or winnings associated with occurred mistakes.

If users are mistakenly overpaid, they agree to return the excess amount promptly. In such cases the customer support team must be notified.

Limitations of liability

Users engage in gambling on AccessBET at their own risk.

The platform is not liable for any damages or losses arising from its services or content. This includes:

  • Delays, errors, interruptions;
  • Events beyond control (power failures, government actions, and so on);
  • Modifications, suspensions of services;
  • Loss of businesses, profits, revenue, or any indirect damages.

AccessBET’s maximum liability to its users is limited to the relevant bet amount or the return of misplaced funds to accounts. It doesn’t apply to paying winnings or other owed sums.

Intellectual property rights

Intellectual property of AccessBET and its licensors includes the following:

  • Trademarks;
  • Logos;
  • Information;
  • Software;
  • Graphics;
  • Databases;
  • Domain, and more.

This material can’t be used, copied, transmitted, or distributed without written consent of the platform’s representatives. Users are not allowed to commercially exploit it as well.

Complaints and claims

Complaints about bets or game outcomes must be submitted to AccessBET customer support team within 15 days of the bet settlement. Account user ID and bet details are requested.

Claims regarding unresolved complaints should be sent within 15 days of the complaint resolution, including relevant correspondence and user ID. 

In both cases, failure to provide necessary details or submit requests after a determined time period invalidates the claim. AccessBET may suspend accounts, refuse bets and withdraw promotions during the resolution process. 

Offensive or damaging language is not tolerated and may result in account termination.

Other provisions

Severability

If any court or administrative body of Nigeria declares any provision of T&C invalid, it does not affect the other provisions, which remain fully enforceable. In such cases, the canceled part is modified to reflect the platform’s original intent, in accordance with applicable law.

Assignment and transfer

Users are prohibited from assigning, transferring, charging, or otherwise dealing with their rights and obligations without obtaining prior written consent from AccessBET. On the other hand, the platform is entitled to charge, transfer, or deal with their rights and obligations under the T&C as they deem operate.

Applicable law and place of jurisdiction

AccessBET’s T&C are subject to Nigerian law, and any disputes related to them are resolved in the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts. Bets placed by users are regulated by relevant provisions of the Nigeria Criminal Code Act and its amendments.
